Advice on talking to girl?

Tomorrow, I am going to a speech and debate tournament. At this tournament, will be a girl I like. She is very shy and reserved, but also very intelligent. I have promised myself that I will go up and talk to her. The only problem is what do I say to her? I am very bad at small talk and I don't want to appear awkward in front of her. I really like this girl and I want to eventually go out with her. Problem is, I have no idea what to say.





Ladies, what would you recommend I say to her?


What would make me look somewhat interested in her but still be casual? I really like her.Advice on talking to girl?

Just start off asking her how she found the tournament darling, then the convo should just flow into both of your opinions and just have a laugh and REMEMBER to make her laugh otherwise she wont remember it for the right reasons, unless you make her laugh she'll just think of it as a casual (slightly meaningless) contestant to contestant chat to pass the time.





Just remember to not make any offensive comments darlin, remember to be casually politically correct. Respect her views hun and let her talk/make her talk, by asking her questions. Just remember to make her laugh occasionally, she just might fall for you. I know I, along with a lot of women, would go for a guy who can make me laugh love.

this is my motto (and it works): just talk. if you guys really go together - even as friends - you'll be able to make good conversation.





however, these topics do help: compliment her (it shows you're not afraid of emasculating yourself AND you're sweet), ask her if she's nervous about the debate (small talk leads to other topics), ask her for help on your speech or something, bring up something she likes.
Think about what you have in common and bring that up. Try not to be to upfront because she may feel uncomfortable. Do you know if she has a thing for you? Keep a smile and Confident!!! lol Good Luck Buddy!
