I need advice on how to tell a girl I like her and want to go out for dinner with her.?

I usually like to go to lunch 1st. What I try to do is ';accidentally'; on purpose bump into her talk a bit and then say I'm hungry do you want to go to lunch with me. (you pay of course) Than after lunch say that was fun how about dinner sometime next week?
