Need advice perferable from a girl about a gift for my girlfriend?

okay so ive been dating my girlfriend for about 6 months, we have not told each other we love one another but we are still pretty close, i see her about twice a week and generally have slow dates where we go see movies or just go to dinner. I want to get her a gift for her birthday, i want to get here something expensive preferable from tiffany and co, i was thinking about the key necklaces, are they too small? are there any other good ideas for gifts? any advice? you can get a necklace, ring, bracelet, or any other jewelry, but you should make it kinda personal. you should probably put her birthstone, a heart, or a cute quote about you and her engraved on it!! that would be totally cute!! or you can get a personalized i pod 4 her! you can put her favorite color or a pic of you and her on it!! i think that would be a great gift!! but i think the necklace with a cute quote about you and her is better. well personally i never want my boyfriend to get me jewelry, maybe its just my opinion but jewelry just seems like a simple easy way out of thinking up something more creative. I cant think of anything right now for you to give her but don't always just resort to jewelry.
Jewelery is a fantastic idea. She'll love it. And nah, it won't be too small. She'll love it especially cause its coming from you :)
I wouldn't say they're too small, size might not matter but really it depends on her taste. I guess some guys aren't observant enough to notice but if you notice what type of jewelry she normally wears, like if it's big and flashy or smaller and more simple that's a good way to tell what she'd like. Either way I'm sure she'll be happy with whatever you give her, be creative! :)
Most girls it's never about the size, or what it is, or where its from. It's all about that you took the time and thought to get her something that you hope she is going to like. A key necklace is beautiful. I'm sure she will really like anything you give to her... Remember. It's the thought that counts :)
